The outdoor cinema returns to the rooftop of El Palace Barcelona, offering, for the first time, movies from Monday to Sunday. At 9:30 PM, as the sun sets over the Barcelona skyline, guests can enjoy a new selection of movies that will change each month.

Gracia´s august festival is one of the city´s most famous and most popular. the district is transformed into a magical world by the residents who live there, with a rotating theme each year. expect live concerts, dances with a live orchestra, exhibitions, contests, workshops, shows and an unmissable route of decorated streets.

This programme is run by caixa forum - and offers a family programme throughout the year based on a careful selection of films to introduce young and old to the world of cinema. at the start of the film the caixaforum team presents the film and invites the audience to have a casual discussion after the screening. there´s also materials with activities about the film that you can download and enjoy at home. films range from ages 4 plus, 7 plus and 11 plus so be sure to check out the exact film on the caixa forum website.

Festival of the sun celebrates the summer solstice. run by the vil·la urània community centre the festival is offering a string of activities and shows paying tribute to the celebrations that the astronomer josep comas i solà used to organise there in the final third of the 20th century. expect petites estrelles, family games in the street; culture outdoors, with shows and concerts; routes and tours, and activity tasters, offering a taste of the educational options from the centre.
